Do I need a SavvyCal account to use the SavvyPal app?

Yes you need a paid SavvyCal account to use the SavvyPal app for Slack. If you are using a trial SavvyCal account, some features of SavvyPal may not work (e.g. Creating Events). If you would like to signup for SavvyCal you may do so here.

Does your company look at or share my data?

Absolutely not. We respect the privacy of all our SavvyPal customers and we will never share you data with any 3rd parties unless absolutely necessary for the SavvyPal app functionality. Currently the only 3rd party that we may share data with is Stripe for our subscriptions.

Are you affiliated with SavvyCal?

We have no official affiliation with SavvyCal. SavvyPal is an independent operator.

Your pricing seems high, why so much?

We have costs associated with providing SavvyPal so we feel our price is fair. If you do not feel we are priced appropriately please feel free to contact us and let us know why.

SavvyPal operates the savvypal.app website, which provides the app for Slack and web services.This page is used to inform website visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service, the SavvyPal application.If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation with this policy. The Personal Information that we collect are used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. Personal Data Retention

Data is kept for the lifetime that one or more users in a team are a customer of SavvyPal. All data related to an individual user is removed immediately after a SavvyPal user stops using the SavvyPal service (e.g. app removal or disconnecting a SavvyCal account).

Individual users may request their data to be removed by filling out our contact form. Requests for data removal will be completed within 7 business days.

Data Security

Data security is very important to us and we take the responsibility of keeping your information safe very seriously.

Server Security

SavvyPal runs on DigitalOcean cloud cloud computing platform. All SavvyPal virtual machines limit access to the least number of people necessary to keep them up and running. All machines hosting SavvyPal data do not support remote login capabilities (e.g. ssh) to prevent any unauthorized access to customer data.

Communications

All data exchanged with SavvyPal is done via the secure HTTPS protocol.

Data Storage

Production SavvyPal data is stored on Mongo Atlas and access is limited with Security Groups to machines that need read and write access to the data. In addition, sensitive customer data is encrypted before persisting to data storage using AES 256 encryption and decryption only occurs when requesting information from Slack.

Logging

No customer data is ever logged, including any information from Slack or SavvyCal.

Employee Access

No SavvyPal employee will ever see your customer data unless required to do so for support reasons. In these instances, the data seen by SavvyPal developers is strictly limited to:

Data Retention

Request Data Deletion

Individual users may request their data to be removed by using the "Contact Us" button on the SavvyPal Slack Home Tab. Requests for data removal will be completed within 7 business days.

Credit Card Safety

When you sign up for a paid account with SavvyPal, your credit card information is managed through Stripe, a company dedicated to storing your sensitive data on PCI-Compliant servers. Our servers do not store or even see your credit card information.

Vulnerability Disclosure Program

We value feedback on any vulnerabilities found in the application and will work to resolve them as quickly as possible. Vulnerabilities should be submitted to support@savvypal.app.
